Our unwavering mission
At Saints Alive DNA, our main mission is to be unwavering advocates for our homeless communities in Columbus. We are actively out in the community, supplying our friends in need with essential clothing, nourishing sandwiches, personal care products, tents, and candles. Beyond immediate relief, we also provide crucial assistance with obtaining photo IDs, household items, and groceries, empowering individuals on their path to stability.
The Spark of Empathy
Saints Alive – Daily Needs Assistance began with a deeply personal question: How can I help? Seeing people on Columbus street corners asking for assistance stirred compassion, but also uncertainty about how to make a meaningful difference.
The turning point came while listening to a talk show that shared the words of Matthew 25:36: “I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.” Those words brought a clear sense of purpose—a calling to put faith into action by caring for neighbors in need.
What began as personal reflection grew into a commitment to serve. That spark of empathy continues to guide Saints Alive today, inspiring us to meet hardship with compassion, offer practical help, and recognize the God-given dignity of every person.
Providing Essential Support with Compassion
Through our longstanding presence in Columbus, Saints Alive – Daily Needs Assistance has built trusting relationships with neighbors experiencing homelessness. They know where to find us and feel comfortable sharing their needs. We listen with compassion and respond with practical essentials, including tents, tarps, nourishing food, warm clothing, household necessities, candles, and blankets. By tailoring our assistance to each person’s immediate circumstances, we help bring comfort and dignity to daily life while reminding our neighbors that they are valued and not alone.

As a 100% volunteer organization, we pay no staff or executive salaries. Your support helps caring volunteers bring essential supplies, kindness, and dignity to the people we serve.
